About Jorge Browne and Matias Reeves

Matías Reeves is currently the Head of Public Education Policy at Chilean Ministry of Education. Since young age during his years as engineering student, he showed great interest in education and public policy and in 2008, he founded Education 2020.

Meanwhile, Matias obtained an MSc in Public Policy at University of Chile and in 2014 he pursued successfully an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy at London School of Economics as a Chevening Scholar.

He was invited in 2013 to present at the conference on “Challenges of Government: People Power Politics” at the Blavatnik School of Government of the University of Oxford. He has also been selected by the World Economic Forum to be part of its Global Shapers Community and by the US State Department to be part of its international leaders’ programme called “Change Makers"

Jorge Browne is a physician currently doing his Geriatrics training at Universidad Catolica, Chile. After working as a general practitioner in Santiago Chile, he pursued a MSc in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicines (2013-2014) and after a MPhil in Epidemiology at Cambridge University (2014-2015). He has great interest on understanding health care needs of ageing populations and how health systems meet these needs.
