About this Death Cafe
Topics will be driven by the interests of those who show up for discussion. In situations where more than a handful come, we can organize smaller group topics as interests dictate, using the World Cafe model, where you can drop in and out of topic discussions as your interests guide you. This event is held at the Black Dog Cafe. We appreciate their support. Please plan to purchase a beverage and/ or snack.
About Stacy Remke
Organizer Stacy Remke has many years experience as a social worker in the area of hospice and palliative care, writes creative non-fiction, and now teaches at the University of MN School of Social Work. In retrospect, much of her life has revolved around questions and seeking insights into questions of death and dying and loss. Facilitators are from a variety of backgrounds and interests just to keep it interesting! We hope you will join us for great conversation, and tasty food and drink.
