This Death Cafe Chico especially honors the departed elders, Pete Seeger and Nelson Mandela. It is sponsored by the Alliance for Support and Education in Dying and Death, which brings together individuals engaged in a range of holistic services to the dyng, their care-givers, and families. About Malama MacNeil
Malama MacNeil is a hands-on healer, and a spiritual midwife and doula to the dying. Trained in grief-work facilitation and end-of-life massage, she has been a longtime family care-taker and hospice volunteer, and is a founding member of AllSEDD.
