About this Death Cafe
We have been getting together for more than a year, and I personally, am blown away! Truly.
Some of us have shed tears, but we've also exploded in laughter.
And at least for me - just plain comforting, to feel free to exchange & share it all with one another.

I have been a hospice volunteer for several years, both in Houston and Charleston.
Recognizing the preciousness of human life, has helped me open my heart to connect more deeply with myself and others.
I believe the Death Cafe offers an invitation to boldly explore the fate that awaits every living being. By being open and inquisitive, we can all discover that death is not the enemy. The real enemy is the fear to explore it.
