About this Death Cafe
In our culture, death has become taboo, something that’s outsourced to the healthcare and funeral industries. We no longer know what it looks like, what it feels like. So when death presents itself, we find ourselves apprehensive, afraid and alone.
This isn't meant to be a morbid affair or a grief-counseling group. Rather, it is for all people who would like to discuss death – whether it be their fears, worries, questions, attitudes, etc.
There will be no product pushed, no "solution" offered. It is simply an open forum for all who are interested.
So, come have cake, drink some tea and discuss death with us!
