About this Death Cafe

Please email us via the contact form below to sign up for this event. This is the first Death Cafe in Belfast and we really don't know what to expect in terms of how many people will attend. We want to keep the afternoon informal and relaxed and invite you to come along and share as little or as much as you feel comfortable with about your thoughts and experiences around death and dying. If the event goes well we would like to repeat it.

About Lucy Beevor & Therese Kieran

We are both fledgling writers and met two years ago across a desk on a writing course at Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast.  We realised we both had a strong interest in death and dying, and yet we were both a little nervous of voicing our interest in public.  Our mutual interest has developed into a writing project we are running called 'The Death Box' and initiating this event. Therese has worked for many years in design and Lucy in the charity sector.
