About this Death Cafe
CLT decided to start this event because we'd discovered that discussion is important to some within our community. We have elders; we've been to social justice events where unjustifiable death has taken place; some members had lost family members.
We felt it was needed for us, and given our mission, decided to open to the community.
About Community of Living Traditions
Community of Living Traditions is an intentional community of Jews, Muslims and Christians. Our mission is community engagement through radical hospitality, addressing social justice conncerns, and now discussion of death as an aspect of nature and a social inquiry.
