About this Death Cafe
We saw a need for creating this in our community. We will follow the general plan of 2 hours with an introduction setting the parameters and a formal closing. We will have 'topic' cards on the table for use if direction is needed. We want to create an atmosphere that is relaxed and safe. We will serve cake midway in the time period.
About Margo Frank and Miriam Raphael
Miriam is a nurse and social worker, now retired, who works in hospice. Currently she is doing a course in Patient Navigation.
Margo is a social worker who has worked in dialysis, does private therapy and continues to work with elders.
