About Literary Kitchen Festival
Panagiotis Pentaris is a thanatologist, with experience in social research and the intersection between death, dying and bereavement, and religion and belief. He is currently acting as a Senior Lecturer at Buckingham New University and a Lecturer for Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies Department at Goldsmiths University of London. His research focuses on death and society, religion and death, and end of life care, while he is a lead coordinator for the FaithXchange Research Network. He has been a death practitioner since 2012, and is running death cafes in London, Honolulu, HI, and in Chania, Greece, annually.
