About this Death Cafe
The Death Cafe is to give people an opportunity to talk freely about death. Many of the people I meet are eager to do so but have no one to speak with. I am holding this cafe at the time of the Day of the Dead festival, and Halloween, because this can be a time to think about death and our relationship with, and feelings about, it. The longer hours of darkness and the coming of the cold season also contribute.
