About this Death Cafe

Sarah is very passionate about Death Literacy. Having been exposed to death consistently through family loss since a young age she saw how difficult it is to manage the requirements of a death if there is no avenue to discuss or share these ideas. Her mother and Aunt are both currenly living with cancer and discussion of prognosis and end of life is an inevitable part of that.

Working in the area of Mental Health ther is a constant awareness of the risk of suicide and how people live and deal with the consequences of such a loss.

Sarah firmly believes taboo doesn't help anyone and expressing our deepest concerns and desires is essential to fostering connection. This is an essential ingredient in yoga as well as a wholistic view of mental health.
