About this Death Cafe
Following the format of the International Death Cafe model will be integrated into fullfiling First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin's mission for the community, which is to nourish souls, tranform lives and to do justice. The intention of our Death Cafe is to open up a dialog about the final transitional stage of life for our congregation and community, as a forum to express, and explore our experiences with death and dying.
About Rev. Marisol Caballero; Jay Cusker, LMFT-A
Rev. Marisol Caballero is the main contact for Lifespan and Assistant Minister for First Untitarian Universalist Church in Austin, TX. Jay Cusker is a Marriage and Family Therapist serving as Bereavement Counselor/ Volunteer Coordinator for Robinson Creek Home Health and Hospice. He is also a CPE Intern for certification as a Spiritual Care Coordinator with SLCET.
