About this Death Cafe
We are running the cafe to open up the conversation about Death and Dying and bring it up into the light. It is something we both feel strongly about. The meeting starts at 7pm but we gather 15 minutes before to say hello to each other and have drinks and cakes. It is a lovely way to meet people who want to talk about something which is sometimes hard to do with family and friends. We are a very friendly and welcoming group.
About Katrina Taee and Jane Flynn
Katrina is a local senior accredited counsellor, specialising in grief and end of life work. She is also a Soul Midwife. SMs are holistic and spiritual companions to the dying. She has written a book about grief (yet to be published). Jane wears many hats too, she is an acupucturist, a herbalist and a healer as well as running a property development company. She is also a Soul Midwife but most importantly, Jane and Katrina are great friends.
