About this Death Cafe
Our culture denies old age, sickness and death. Impermanence and death is an essential Buddhist teaching and we welcome the open discussion that increases awareness so we can make the most of our finite lives.
About The Clear Light Institute of Sukhasiddhi Foundation
Sukhasiddhi Foundation is a Buddhist meditation center in Marin County, California. This will not be a Buddhist teaching event — we will adhere to Death Cafe guidelines of an agenda-free discussion, with the topics determined by attendees.
Everyone is welcome.
FACILITATORS:
Barbara Juniper, is a wellness counselor and teacher. She has over 20yrs of experience working with a variety of people and their life circumstances. She is very warm hearted with exceptional listening and people skills.
Pat Berube, registered nurse and director of The Clear Light Institute, an educational initiative dedicated to assisting people in preparing for death and providing guidance in how to care for friends and loved ones who are dying.
