Today in many ciites people appreciate meeting in conversation about this taboo topic: death.  The Death Cafe includes people of all faiths or of no faith.  People meet over food or dessert simply to be in comfortable conversation, to share their fears and their experiences and their curiosity about death.

About Rev Lyn Cameron

Rev. Cameron, a second career minister, graduated from Andover Newton Theological Seminary in Newton MA in 2004 and followed her gradation with a year-long internship at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis with supervisor Fred Muir. Her earlier career was as a faculty member and Associate Professor at Dean College in Franklin MA, teaching in the Visual and Performing Arts program and as a costume designer for many theatre and dance productions. She also spent seven years working as a part-time Director of Religious Education at Rockland UU Church in Rockland, MA and at the Unitarian Universalist of Canton in Canton, MA. Rev. Cameron is among those who founded the UUA Ministry For Earth and is devoted to spreading the good news of Unitarian Universalism and its message of caring community and love for all life.
