About this Death Cafe
Thank you to the San Diego County Coalition for Improving End-of-Life Care for helping to reserve the room.
The mission of the Coalition is:
"To educate and raise awareness within San Diego County about end-of-life issues and to provide resources to help people make informed choices."
The Community Room can be a bit cool or cold, so dress with that in mind.
About Janet Hafner and Shawna Beck
Janet Hafner, MA, has 30 years of experience as a community college assistant professor, 15 years of experience in coaching/facilitation, especially around end-of-life issues and the Advance Health Care Directive.
Shawna Beck is currently an assisted living placement consultant and has a 20-year background working in hospitals, outpatient clinics, hospice, and senior living settings.
