About this Death Cafe
Death and spirituality; spirituality and death...
Some of my most significant conversations on the spiritual journey have been with people whose death is immanent or those planning a funeral for a loved one who has recently died.
My experience has been through Death Cafe that gathering people and giving them permission to talk about death creates that same sense of intimacy and even joy.
About Jim Gordon
Jim Gordon has been pastor of Pine Ridge Church since 1994. He and his wife Marcia have two children and are enjoying the empty nest!
He graduated from McCormick seminary in Chicago in 1986 and received his Doctor of Ministry degree in 2008.
He is an oblate of Mt. St. Scholastica Monastery in Atchison, Kansas, and enjoys sharing the spiritual journey.
