Grief is an aspect of love - an haiku

Spring flows life to love’s
warm-season-flow. Death, to love’s,
cold, deep-winter-flow.

I wrote this many years ago. It is a nice companion to the haiku here:

Water born of fallen snow
Gives lie to sterile white
Trickles hidden from the eye
Stir a seed to life
