I'm a birth provider and I'd like to host a Death Cafe as a space for people to discuss fetal and perinatal loss. Does this fit into the Death Cafe ethos? I noticed that it was mentioned to not have a topic or a theme.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

We don't have themes at Death Cafes but we do have Death Cafes for specific communities e.g. young people, LGBTQI etc. There is more info about this here: http://deathcafe.com/293/

You could have a Death Cafe specifically for people affected by fetal and perinatal loss.

Hope that makes sense.

Hi Emily, I'd be very interested in this. I've had a perinatal loss myself, and I'm currently writing a book on the topic. I'm also training to be a baby loss doula. Please let me know if you'd like some assistance in putting this together! My email is danielle.granville@gmail.com. All the best, Danielle
