Being Ready for Death

Being Ready for Death

I have just discovered a website which really helped me look to my own future and my own death, and my 93 year old Mother's.  My mother was so pleased to know that she will not be kept alive just because medicine can do that.  She just wants to go naturally.  I have done my 'bucket list' now too.

This seems a useful start to the process of planning one's death (my life expectancy is about a year, prostate cancer).

I'd like to make sure that I have covered as many issues as possible, to minimize problems for my family after I die.

Has anyone found a comprehensive list of the things one needs to do in preparation? A UK based one would be nice, but there is likely to be a lot of common areas, wherever one lives.

Maybe this would be a useful separate blog heading?
